VOIP FAIR USAGE POLICY (FUP)

This VoIP Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) outlines the acceptable and reasonable use of VoIP & PBX services provided by Stantexx Contractors & General Supplies (“we”, “us”, “our”). Its purpose is to ensure high‑quality service, prevent abuse, and maintain network stability for all clients.

By using our VoIP & PBX services, you agree to comply with this FUP.


📞 1. Purpose of This Policy

VoIP systems rely on shared network resources. Excessive or abusive usage can negatively impact:

  • Call quality

  • Network performance

  • Carrier reliability

  • System security

This policy ensures fair and responsible use across all clients.



📊 2. What Is Considered Fair Usage?

Fair usage means:

  • Using VoIP services for normal business communication

  • Making calls consistent with your business size and industry

  • Avoiding automated or high‑volume calling patterns

  • Using extensions as intended (one user per extension)

We monitor usage patterns to ensure fairness and service quality.



🚫 3. Prohibited VoIP Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

3.1. Automated or High‑Volume Calling

  • Robocalling

  • Auto‑dialing

  • Predictive dialing

  • Mass outbound campaigns

3.2. Fraudulent or Malicious Use

  • Caller ID spoofing

  • Toll fraud

  • Unauthorized international calling

  • Using VoIP for harassment or threats

3.3. Excessive Call Duration or Frequency

Examples of excessive usage include:

  • Continuous calling without breaks

  • Unusually long call durations

  • Call volumes far above typical business levels

3.4. Sharing or Reselling Services

You may not:

  • Share your VoIP service with another business

  • Resell or redistribute VoIP minutes

  • Use one extension for multiple users


📈 4. Usage Thresholds

To maintain service quality, we may apply fair usage thresholds such as:

  • Maximum outbound calls per day

  • Maximum call duration per extension

  • Maximum concurrent calls

  • Limits on international calling

These thresholds vary based on your plan and business type.

If your usage exceeds normal business patterns, we may contact you to review your needs or recommend an upgraded plan.



🔍 5. Monitoring & Review

We monitor VoIP usage to:

  • Detect fraud

  • Prevent abuse

  • Maintain call quality

  • Ensure network stability

Monitoring includes call volume, duration, patterns, and destination types. We do not monitor call content unless call recording is enabled by the client.



⚠️ 6. Violations & Enforcement

If we detect usage that violates this policy, we may:

  • Issue a warning

  • Temporarily restrict outbound calling

  • Block suspicious destinations

  • Suspend VoIP services

  • Terminate service in severe cases

We will always attempt to contact you before taking action unless immediate suspension is required to protect the network.

If your business requires:

  • High‑volume calling

  • Call center operations

  • Automated dialing

  • Large outbound campaigns

We can provide a custom VoIP plan designed for your needs. This ensures compliance while maintaining performance.



📜 8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this FUP periodically. Continued use of our VoIP services indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
